Our Senior News Service has improved in two ways.
First, we display an excerpt below the headline now so that you can get a better idea of what the story is about. Second, we now provide a link below the excerpt that will take you to the complete news article.
Before, the only link was the headline of the story. That link took you to our post and it was our post that had the excerpt and a link to the complete story. The headline still does works this way but we’ve cut out a step for you. Now you see the excerpt and have a link to the original story right away. Just remember to click on the new link below the excerpt.
Please remember that these excerpts are provided with the story. Some stories may not have an excerpt.
The way we use our news is to first read the headline, second to read the excerpt if the headline is of interest to us, and third click the link to the complete story if the excerpt interests us
Remember that we are posting selected, not all, news stories we believe should be of interest to senior citizens and baby boomers.
