Health is wealth beyond compare. Aristotle said that the purpose of humankind is not to live but to live well. Living well doesn't mean just having a lot of money. You must be healthy to enjoy living. We cannot stop the effects of aging altogether, but we can be smart and take sensible steps to prolong the quality of our lives. "Use it or lose it" seems to be the body's motto. Exercise and activity help to extend your life, and its quality. Lack of exercise can lead to rigidity. Rigidity of the body seems to create rigidity of the mind. Stiffness and pain show as a less pleasant disposition. It's easy to go overboard with the latest fad. But, it is also easy to miss something new that may benefit you. Staying on top of health news is the key to unlocking a healthier future for you. |
