Seniors need to protect their computers from online threats. Seniors and boomers should use a good anti-virus scanner and keep it up-to-date. As well, you should keep your operating systems (Windows AP, Vista, 7, or Mac) up-to-date and patched. Hackers seem to like some programs, notably the Internet Explorer browser, Outlook Express email client, and some Adobe products such as its Acrobat PDF reader, so you should keep these programs updated against the latest threats. | |
